About Server Warden and how we write
Server Warden is a managed server security service for small and mid-sized businesses. This page explains who stands behind the site, what it publishes and the rules every page follows.
Who we are
Server Warden audits, installs, configures and monitors protection for websites, APIs and VPS servers, and sends alerts and readable reports so a small business does not have to watch attacks around the clock. The technology layer is powered by E-ZETTA Safe Guard. Server Warden is an implementation and managed security service. Company and seller details are on the seller details page, and you can reach us through the contact page.
What this site publishes
The blog holds practical guides on securing Linux servers and VPS infrastructure: SSH, firewalls, patching, backups, monitoring and incident response. The glossary gives short, sourced definitions of server security terms, directives and files. The security hub for vibe coders collects guides for people who build and ship apps with AI assistants but are not security specialists. Every page exists in English and Russian with matching content.
How every page is sourced
Each technical claim, command, option name and number on a guide or glossary page is checked against a primary source before publication: official documentation, manual pages, RFCs, standards bodies such as NIST, OWASP, CISA, or a named, cited study or report. Sources are linked in the text. We do not publish invented statistics, and when we cannot verify a detail we leave it out or say that we could not confirm it. Examples of the product are marked as such and are kept out of factual explanations.
Dates, updates and corrections
Guides show a published date and an updated date, and the same dates appear in the page data for search engines. When documentation or software changes, we update the page and move the updated date. If you find a mistake, an outdated command or a broken source link, tell us through the contact page with the page address and what is wrong. We correct confirmed errors and update the date.
Commercial relationship
Server Warden sells managed server protection and offers a free, read-only server check. Pages may offer that check or a conversation with a security engineer in clearly marked boxes. The guides are written to be useful on their own: you can follow them without buying anything.
